Ensemble: Gingham and Pastels

Even though it's been mostly rainy and cold here in Chicago, we've gotten a couple brief glimpses of warmer weather (and always on the weekend, how convenient!).  I'm getting really excited about living in this new neighborhood for the summer - not only have I checked out the walk to the beach, but also (ahem) tested out the neighborhood gelato place.

Shirt and Sweater - Gap / Jeans - Loft / Necklace - F21 / Flats - Payless

Also, it's fair to note, I'm pretty sure this gelato place isn't really serving gelato because the small size was about three ice cream scoops.  I'm not complaining.

What are you most excited for this summer?

  3. I'm wearing my mint pants on the blog today, too! I'm always looking for new colors to pair them with, so this is great inspiration!

  4. Love those mint pants and how you paired them! I think I am most looking forward to some days spent on the river come summertime!

  8. love your outfit! so cute and great colours

  9. Right, just warmth would be nice! And less rain ;)

  10. I just have the one too, some more would be nice!

  11. Thanks! Days on the river sound really nice. Do you do tubing/boating?

  12. Yeah maybe too much great stuff, the loft is stealing all of my money!

  13. So exciting that you're in a new neighborhood. I'm moving back to the burbs for 3 months while I graduate from OT school, take the boards, and apply to jobs. So fun right?? At least I'm going to my first Lolla this summer!

Love your whole look! I might need to invest in some colored gingham before this spring is over.

  14. Thanks for Linking Up with us Kristina, hope to see you back again!

  15. At least it'll be easier to concentrate there! Are you going to U of C or was that just for undergrad? Tried to get tickets for Lolla this year but they literally sold out while I was on the site - told me I could only buy one ticket, and then told me I could buy zero tickets :( Guess that's what happens when they put Mumford and Lumineers on the same night!
