Ensemble: Gingham and Pastels

Even though it's been mostly rainy and cold here in Chicago, we've gotten a couple brief glimpses of warmer weather (and always on the weekend, how convenient!).  I'm getting really excited about living in this new neighborhood for the summer - not only have I checked out the walk to the beach, but also (ahem) tested out the neighborhood gelato place.

Also, it's fair to note, I'm pretty sure this gelato place isn't really serving gelato because the small size was about three ice cream scoops.  I'm not complaining.

Ensemble: Almost Spring

So, these mint jeans I have... is it appropriate to wear them every day?  Because I really want to.  Even though it hasn't necessarily been warm yet, I've been easing into spring with brighter colors and my white peacoat.  

To my coat: I'm sorry that I spilled spiked kids temperature Starbucks hot chocolate on you on St. Patrick's Day.  I swear I'll make it up to you.  

Coat - Old Navy (old, similar here) / Blazer and Tee - Gap / Pants and Flats - Loft / Bag (similar here) and Sunglasses - Target

I saw my grandma later this day and she asked if I was wearing a twinset.  If twinsets now include sequins, then count me in!

Ensemble: Polka Dots & Mint

Happy Monday!  If you're curious, I did hit the streets on Saturday in my shamrock shutter shades but made it in home and into bed by about 9:30pm.  Guess I'm getting old!

This outfit was a total copycat of Andrea Everyday.  I've had this shirt for a while but hadn't really worn it, I couldn't find the right thing to match the gray.  Duh, of course colored jeans were the answer!

This was the first time I've been able to get out onto our balcony in almost a month, we were having weekly blizzards for a while.  Sunny weather has me hoping that it'll start to warm up here!

These booties are my new favorite.  I usually can't buy shoes from stores like F21 because my feet are a silly size (10.5) but these magically fit.  Best day ever.
