Our Paris Photo Session

While we were in Paris, we thought it would be fun to do a professional photo shoot to have pictures for our holiday card, and because whenever we travel I get home and discover we didn't manage to take any photos together. And when I say, "we thought it would be fun," I obviously mean, "I." Jeff played along and was a good sport though, although really the only planning he had to do was make sure he'd have a nice pair of pants ;)

If you're looking for a photographer, we ended up working with Tim Moore (after I did tons of Googling!) and it was such a good decision. He was amazing to work with and so fun too, he made us really comfortable in front of the camera. Plus, you know, the work speaks for itself! Here's a few of our favorite shots:

In case you're curious, I'm wearing this dress and these heels. Everything else is old, but here's a similar scarf, a similar coat (and another), and similar earrings (and another pair). Also, this is reminding me that I need to wear this dress again this holiday season, maybe to the holiday party we're headed to tonight!

Our Engagement Photos

I feel like I've been talking about our engagement photos for forever (we had to reschedule three times because of weather) but they're finally here!  We decided to take our pictures down by the Adler Planetarium so that we could get a little bit of Chicago skyline and a little bit of beach.  Our photographer was Cristina from Cristina G Photography.  She was really easy to work with and did an amazing job.  The photos turned out perfect, and I'm especially in love with the colors in the beach shots. Here are some of my favorites:

I already popped these into the wedding site I'm building and I'm really excited to start sharing the site.  Now that we have our photos I'm busy picking out our save the dates too.  It's starting to feel so real!
