Snow Day

Sweater - Old Navy / Skirt - JCrew / Booties - Kelly & Katie (old) / Necklace - Loft (old) / Bracelet - Baublebar

These pictures are from last week, when the snow was only just starting to fall.  Now there's at least a foot out there.  So it doesn't look that bad in the pictures, but it practically a blizzard at the time.  If our neighbors didn't think I was crazy before, they definitely do now.  While I was out there, our front gate blew shut and locked me out, so I had to crawl through my neighbor's yard to get back in.  Luckily, it turns out this skirt (that I was lusting after all winter) and sweater (a Christmas gift from my sister) are surprisingly warm so I didn't suffer from hypothermia.  Although they're certainly not the best for creeping through the snow...

    1. It's not so bad as long as I take them close to my front door so I can just run in and out ;)

    1. Getting locked out while taking photos seems to be a specialty of mine. You'd think I'd learn to just bring my key with me every time...

  10. EMERGENCY- how does this skirt fit?? It's on sale right now, and I am THIS close to buying it, but I'm afraid it will highlight the midsection that I do not want to highlight... Yes, this is definitely an emergency haha

I cannot believe you took photos outside. You are amazing. I've been cowering in my house for days (hence why I have no new photos this week). But the freezing weather and snow army crawling were worth it- you look amazing!

    1. EMERGENCY! It fits really well. I've worn it with a shirt tucked in and untucked and I think it looks good both ways, no unfortunate midsection highlighting. I bought my usual size, didn't size down like I sometimes do with skirts.
