Stripes & Sneaks

Tank - Loft (similar) / Jeans - Gap / Sneakers - Nordstrom Rack (similar) / Bag - Coach Factory (similar) / Necklace - Yuni Kelley (similar)

I put this on last week, and Jeff said, "You look really cool. Like a rock star." I'm now uncertain as to whether or not Jeff has ever seen a rock star, but I think it was the sneakers that got him. I've been wearing sneakers whenever I've been walking a lot lately, not just because they're comfy, but also because it turns out I have a leg length discrepancy. Remember a couple of weeks ago when I had to go get my legs measured? Well the right one is about a centimeter shorter than the left, which means I now get to wear a nifty little lift in my sneaks whenever I do anything resembling exercise. I feel like I would have been embarrassed about it when I was younger, but now I think it's hilarious, and with the lift I can finally do squats without falling down. Win win win.

  1. Love that cute purse! Also LOL @ the rock star comment

  2. Haha I love that you said now you think it's funny. I would have been the same way. And I totally ship for old lady comfy but cute walking shoes now because I can't even walk the length of a mall without my knee hurting. So I wear my sneakers or old lady shoes whenever I'm doing extended walking. Sigh, the joys of getting older.

  3. haha love that he called you a rock star. Such a gorgeous bag!!

  4. I really love this whole outfit, it's totally a perfect weekend outfit that is still chic!

  5. I'm always trying to figure out how to wear sneakers with anything other than exercise clothes, you wore them well!
