Leopard x Double Denim

I'm going to let you in on a little secret.  A lot of my photos are taken with a tripod and a timer, which means I spend a lot of time running back and forth from the camera.  I finally got around to buying a remote shutter, but it's very temperamental and this is the only set of photos I managed to get it to work for.  I'm guessing maybe the one I got was too cheap?  If anyone has any recs for remote shutters, let me know!  I have a Panasonic Lumix G5.

Chambray - Target (old, similar) / Jeans - Gap / Scarf - Banana Republic (no longer available online, similar) / Necklace - YuniKelley (similar) / Bracelet - Stella & Dot / Watch - Michael Kors (old) / Boots - Bandolino (old, similar)

Oh, and don't worry, I did not take these pictures today/yesterday.  I may have died.  My work had another mandatory work from home day yesterday so I spent most of the day hiding under blankets in my pajamas.  Good luck today, East Coast!

  4. Haha I am always running back and forth from my tripod too. My camera isn't even remote compatible, so I don't really have an option. I really like this outfit, the scarf was a cool detail with the denim look.

  5. LOL I am always going back and forth - and pray no one sees me, I feel like I look like an idiot, but hey it's all for the blog. Love your boots and scarf! You look great!

  9. Okay I'm glad you did not take these yesterday (or, today, quite frankly) because you would be dead. I take my pics the same way, and I've actually been having trouble with my remote since the colder temps. (If it's 20 degrees or above, I'll attempt outdoor photos even though it still sucks.) My remote is super cheap, too, but I never had problems until it got cold. Usually, if I bring the camera and remote back inside for a few minutes and then try again, it starts back up. Not sure if that's the issue with yours, but it might be worth a shot!

  10. I'm another one who runs back and forth from the camera. I'm sure I'd take my photos a lot quicker (and get out of the cold faster) if I had someone taking my photos...but if that was the case, I wouldn't have a blog.

I think your photos look great with the remote, and maybe with practice, you'll get better! I'm curious to hear your thoughts in a week or two.
