The Blogger's Dilemma

I bought this dress at the end of spring, thinking I would get plenty of use out of it during the summer.  Wrong.  It still has the tags on it.  I put it on a lot, but then decide it isn't quite right for whatever the occasion is.

Now the question is, is it appropriate to wear to a wedding?  I've seen several girls this summer (including a mother of the groom?!) wearing white patterned dresses to weddings.  What do you think, so good or no good?  Would you ever wear a white patterned dress to a wedding?

  1. You could definitely wear it to a wedding! Go for it

  2. Totally appropriate for a wedding...just don't wear a veil!

  3. Totally appropiate for a wedding, go for it!

  4. I think you could totally wear this for a wedding! The pattern breaks up the white enough so that it hardly can be considered "white." Plus, you look great!

  5. I think white's okay as long as it's not the predominant colour and more of an accent. You can totally wear this to a wedding, IMO.

  6. I think it's fine for a wedding as long as you pair it with black shoes and accessories as well. I was recently at a wedding where a guest wore a long white gown. I was in shock!

  7. I am going to be the voice of doubt here - I say no go! I think you'll second guess it the whole time. But it's cute!

  8. I always wonder the exact same thing! I never know if it is appropriate to wear a patterned white dress! Well you look AWESOME in it either way :)

  9. I think this is adorable! I would totally wear it to a wedding!

  10. I've always been a little hesitant to wear anything that has white in it to a wedding, but the dress is really cute and you focus on the pattern more too. Go for it!
