Ensemble: Floral & Mint

Pastels + floral print + ruffles, how much girlier could an outfit get?  Oh, a little bit I guess, because I threw in my gold Sperry's.*  Getting dressed in spring is definitely my favorite.

* The boyfriend calls these my Michael Johnson shoes.  Once when wearing them, I performed a rather magnificent leap to avoid some dog poop.  I think they work.

Sick Friday

This week I got hit by the nasty May cold that's going around.  A cold in May?  Blerg.  I spent yesterday shivering under blankets in my office.  Whenever I'm sick, my favorite thing to do is complain about it.  I know, I know, how obnoxious.  This is the picture text I sent my boyfriend from work yesterday:

I foresee a lot of soup and naps for myself over the weekend.  I hope you have more exciting plans than me!

Ensemble: Coral & Mint

I bought my first Kate Spade bag the other week and couldn't be happier with it.  I'm loving the light mint color, it seems like it goes with just about everything I own.  I've already been wearing it to death.

This weather has me wearing all kinds of happy and bright colors.  I think sunny days in the 60's are my favorite.  Hooray for Spring's arrival!

Ensemble: Bows & Lace

Sometimes you just need an extra dose of girliness in your life.  Bows and lace are my answer.

I know, I know.  You've been sucking it up for the past few weeks and going without tights.  Well, I'm a wimp.  And these tights are adorable, so I don't care.

I've been on the hunt for a cute pair of polka dotted tights but haven't had luck so far.  I guess with warmer weather on the way, I won't really be needing tights again for a while.  Here's to bare legs!

High Roller

I had a pretty good baseball + derby day on Saturday.  I won big on the race (and when I say "big," what I really mean is I made a net profit of three bucks) and rocked a pretty sweet hat all day that we got for free at the Cubs game.

The Freakin Weekend

After a super busy week, I'm excited for it to finally be Friday!  This weekend we're celebrating the boyfriend's birthday by hitting a Cubs game with a bunch of our friends and going to a Derby party.
