This (long) weekend I...
...Finished up my week of volunteering with Destination Imagination! If you saw my Instastories you may have thought I spent the week playing beach volleyball in an auditorium, but that was just our breaks - I actually spent the week watching (and judging) eighty teams performing improv. It was exhausting but so much fun - definitely hoping I can go back again next year!!
...Drove home to sweet home Chicago, and had a very Chicago night with Jeff, filled with deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's and cocktails out on the patio at Tiny Lounge. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Chicago is the absolute best in the summer!! The weather was beautiful this weekend and everyone was out and about to enjoy it.
...Did a bit of online shopping during the sales over the weekend - I'm most excited about this fringed sleeveless sweater I snagged on sale. It reminds me of this little white dress from last summer which I still love. Looks like it's still on sale with free shipping today, so shop away!!
...Met up with some friends for brunch and a pitcher of margaritas at Tuco and Blondie. Anywhere that can make me swoon over a salad is a winner in my book!
...Had a Bachelorette date with one of my girlfriends, complete with a bottle of The Final Rosé - lol!! Have you been watching this season?
