Still in White

Blouse - Target / Denim - Old Navy / Bag (similar) - Sole Society / Sandals - Dolce Vita / Bracelet and Earrings - BaubleBar

I saw this top, and after about a second I decided I needed it, and then after another second decided I was going to wear it with these white jeans as many times as I possibly could. I actually haven't shopped for clothes at Target in a while, mostly because there no longer is one that I aimlessly wander through during my lunch hour every day. Instead, most of my Target trips involve sneakily sending Jeff off to search for something so I can quickly raid the home goods section, but that's neither here nor there. In my absence so many new brands have appeared. This shirt is by Knox Rose, which may be my new fav. All of their clothes have this "cool girl don't care" attitude (especially this amazing plaid fringe cardi!) that I love and try to create at home. Unfortunately I always end up looking a little more "not-cool trying to hard" instead. The struggle is real.

A Little Faux

Tee - Loft (similar) / Skirt - Target / Heels - Sole Society / Bag - Coach Factory (similar) / Necklace (similar) and Bracelet - BaubleBar

I don't shop for clothes at Target anymore.  Yes, you read that correctly.  It's not that I don't like Target clothes.  It's just that the layout of the closest store is a little funky, and I like the rest of what Target has to offer so much that by the time I get to the clothing section my cart is so full that I don't feel like maneuvering through the clothing aisle with it.

Then some smart employee decided to hang this skirt on the outside aisle, and it literally drew me over from another section like a moth to the flame.  Between the shape and the faux leather scalloped look, I had to have it.  Target wins again.

Orange + Glitter

Hey guys! Today I'm coming at you from sunny Orlando!  Wait, didn't I say on Friday that I was heading to Vegas?  I'm just jetsetting all over the place this week ;)

This skirt was one of those clearance rack snags from Target.  I saw it and thought, "It this color too obnoxious?  Maybe I should pair it with a glitter belt..."

Shirt - F21 / Skirt and Belt - Target / Shoes - Steve Madden (similar here) / Necklace - Stella & Dot / Watch and Bracelet - Michael Kors / Bracelet - Baublebar

I'll be in Florida the rest of the week, but don't get too jealous, it's for work.  I'll still be posting while I'm gone, but feel free to follow along on Instagram!

Life Lately...

... via Instagram!

Do you ever buy something because it comes in a pretty bottle?  I mean no, I don't ever do that.

Thai restaurant, yes please.

Ahhhmazing donuts that someone brought to work.  I'm odd, so I only like one kind of donut: the Chocolate Longjohn.  What a strange child I must have been.

Sake bomb oh dear.

Birthday mochi (it wasn't my birthday, duhhhh)

New arm candy!  And from Target, no less!

In other news, today is my work Christmas party, which means bowling and an open bar all afternoon.  Really, I'd take that over a fancy ballroom party any day ;)

Ensemble: Orange Sparkle

Oh hey, I had someone else take some outfit photos for me, wowee!  My sister was snapping some pics of my new glasses, and I was like "Hey! Get the outfit too!" You know, in the nicest way possible.

Sweater - Target / Blazer - NY&Co / Jeans - Gap / Boots - Chinese Laundry

I picked up this sweater at Target, has anyone else noticed that they've been hitting it out of the park lately?  A new Target just opened around the corner from my office, which is great for me but a problem for my wallet.

Jumping picture, duh.

It was my first blog photoshoot, so naturally I felt a little on the awkward side.  This isn't even me trying to jump, it was just how I was standing.

Me in the dressing room: "Is this sweater too orange?  Too sparkly?  Too reminiscent of a '50s cheerleading sweater?  Nahhhhh."
