Two Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Do you dress up for Thanksgiving, or is it more of a casual holiday for your family? I would say that my family wavers between totally casual and a little festive. I can't quite imagine having to go to a Thanksgiving where you needed to really dress up, you really need some space for a little turkey baby belly!

Last year we managed to schedule just one, quiet Thanksgiving for ourselves, but that won't be the case for 2018! We're planning to drive out west for Jeff's dad's family Thanksgiving in the morning where there are usually at least 15 people present between all of Jeff's aunts, uncles and cousins, and where one uncle usually "carves" the steaming hot turkey with his hands instead of a knife! Then we'll head up north to my parents' house to hopefully catch a little football (for Jeff) and a nap (for me) before we go to my grandma's house, where it should already be completely decked out for Christmas and we're expecting at least 20 of my extended family. Phew, I'm tired just thinking about it, but also excited for two servings of mashed potatoes in one day ;)

I'll probably be sticking with my pregnancy uniform of a cardigan and leggings for all of the eating and travel, but here are two outfit ideas for Thanksgiving in case you're looking for some inspiration.

Festive Thanksgiving: Sweater / Scarf / Skirt / Heels / Bag

Casual Thanksgiving: Sweatshirt / Necklace / Bag / Booties / Jeans
